These tutorials show just two ways (Levels or Curves) to bring the best out in your photos.
There are many other features to experiment with in both
Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro,
but the curves feature and levels feature will give you a lot of bang for your
buck and are great places
to start to save images that are overly dark (you'd be surprised what you can
save!)
and also just to make an ok image - really pop!!
You will need Flash enabled to view these videos.
You may use a different version of Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro
than I did, while creating these tutorials,
but most newer versions are very similar! So you should still be able to follow
along.
There are no set in stone "settings" for curves or levels,
it's all about the individual photo and what pleases the eye.
Remember that less can be more, so don't over-do it. You just want to enhance
your images.
